MAKE,HACK,AND RE-MIX THE WORLD!

Session Facilitators

newpaul-sidePaul Treadwell – Cornell Cooperative Extension Information Technology

This will be the 12th (maybe 13th) year I have facilitated a Career Explorations session. In previous years my sessions  have included web development, digital media, mobile device design and more. This year we’ll be running this session as a mini-maker faire or hack jam. From wearable computing to network technologies to 3d printing we will be working with new and emerging technologies. The goal is to not just use technology, but to develop a sense of how it works and how you can change or shape it to create something new, something that is yours.

His involvement with distance learning began over a decade ago and has focused on peer learning and knowledge development in online environments. He is especially interested in the practical application of the work of Paulo Freire to the field of distance learning.
