Wanderers is a group for day-trips in and around our region. We typically organize several trips a year (Note: We could really use some help with trip planning.) We explore interesting and relevant local sights, oftentimes off the beaten path, that might have historic and cultural significance. Tours include, among others: walking tours, museums, historic buildings, galleries, studios, factories, and wineries. This past year we offered two trips. The Fall trip included Grisamore Farms in Locke and the Isabel Howland House (Opendore) in Sherwood. The Winter trip included a tour of the State Theater (both public and private spaces), a stop at Press Bay Alley to learn about how it came to be developed, and a peek into a sample apartment at the Ithacan (multi-story apartments under construction on the Commons.)
