shows similar trends. On Sept 9 five weight M/L 1 steers at Finger Lakes Livestock brought 1.27/lb and declined 6% through Oct 19 to 1.15/lb. Since Oct 19 same weight feeder steers have increased 10% to Nov 9 at $1.28/lb. Selling in December or if you know your cattle, retaining ownership may be wise options.
