Just for fun – turkey prices

Both retail and wholesale turkey prices are tracking on a general upward trend leading up to the holiday season. Wholesale turkey prices (8-16 lbs. Hens) have been tracking above last year’s levels and in recent weeks has ranged from $0.90 to $1.00 per pound. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported the retail turkey price at about $1.45 per pound in early 2019 and prices have followed a general upward trend for the year and were $1.60 per pound in October.
