Just in time for Spring: Stocker Webinars

Hello Everyone:

I trust you’re all making it through the winter well and looking forward to spring. We will be presenting 4 webinars, taking a look at some of our fellow stockers 2018 operation as well as their outlook for 2019. The presentations will be held March 12, 19, 26 and April 9th, at 7:00pm. with each date dedicated to one operation.

Mike and Margaret MacFarland of Cantontop Farms in Canton, NY will be first. Not only was 2018 the MacFarlands first year as stocker operators, having purchased their first 6 heads last spring, it was their first year as farmers!!!

This and all subsequent presentations will outline their procedural and financial outcomes, review methods including grazing routine, water system, conditioning and veterinary concerns, transportation and a marketing program including the individual profit/loss ratios, as well as highlight successes and mistakes. We thank each presenter for sharing their experiences, challenges and what they see as opportunities.

Below are the instructions to join the webinar. We look forward to bringing these to you.
