Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County invites all farms, producers and ag service professionals to attend the upcoming Winter Shop Meeting.

• Free, no registration, just show up! heated shop, coffee/light refreshments.
Cornell Beef Cattle Extension Specialist Dr. Mike Baker will be on hand to help with concerns on the opportunities and challenges of getting the most from your dairy and dairy beef crosses. Other topics but not limited to include when is my beef animal ready for market and getting the most from my cull dairy cows.

The objective of the series, which will be hosted by a local farm and held in their heated workshops, is to keep Cayuga County producers informed of timely issues affecting their business. Shop Meetings are an opportunity to hear from local farms and industry experts, to encourage conversation and sharing among the county’s farms.
