Stockmanship Training for Beef Producers

New York is proud to welcome Curt Pate, a nationally and internationally recognized clinician, known for his abilities conducting stockmanship demonstrations. Curt will be offering two special evening meetings for beef producers as he travels NYS as part of the ProDairy Dairy Managers Meeting.

Beef producers will have two opportunities to learn from Curt Pate as he shares his expertise and answers questions related to moving and handling cattle with ease, improving handling systems, and working as a team with family and employees.

On March 5th, training will be held at Center Dale Farm, 28206 St. Rt. 126 Black River, NY. On March 6th a second training will be held at Empire Livestock, 7418 NY-415, Bath, NY. Both trainings will be held from 6:00-9:00pm and are $25.00 a person. Training will include dinner.

Space is limited for these unique and interactive clinics. Pre-registration is required. Contact Katherine Brosnan at 315-339-6922, kbrosnan@nybeef.org.

These Stockmanship and Stewardship trainings are made possible through partnership of New York Beef Quality Assurance, the Beef Checkoff and New York Beef Council, ProDairy, Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
