Bull Genetics and Selecting Herd Sire Seminar

The Vermont Beef Producers is proud to announce the upcoming seminar with Phil Trowbridge of Trowbridge Angus.  We are thrilled that he was available to come speak to VT and New York Beef producers about the importance of using improved genetics in your herd.

Phil is a 6th generation farmer and his family has been in the Beef Industry for more than 60 years.  Phil is recognized as one of the top Angus Breed promoters and producers in the country.  He has served as past President of The American Angus Association. Phil annually sells 40-50 Bulls along with an annual heifer sale and helps with the New York Beef Producers Feeder Sale.

Phil will be discussing the importance of using quality genetics and the long-term impacts that proper bull selection can have on your herd.  Remember, the bull you use this year can have an impact on your herd for years to come.  We hope you’ll join us for this informative opportunity on Saturday, March 18th at 10:30AM at the Sudbury School in Sudbury, VT.  After the presentation, everyone is welcome to visit Mountain Meadows Farm also in Sudbury to view some Angus and Charolais bulls.
