“Redbook” now available in electronic format

Many producers are familiar with the NCBA Redbook. This pocket sized book was the place you kept all of your cowherd records – from calving to doctoring to breeding. Now it is available in a spreadsheet form. From the data you enter, it will automatically calculate 205 day weaning weights, animal unit grazing months, pounds weaned per cow exposed and much more.  So if you are the least bit handy with a computer this may be just the ticket. Of course, you will still want to keep a hand written record to be entered electronically at a later date. For a copy go to Redbook_NCBA-worksheet-excel-2007.
