Ok, so maybe I’m not an Applied Economics and Management major yet, but I am really starting to get into one of my classes. AEM 240, also known as Marketing has now become my new favorite class. First of all no homework except for reading, AWESOME!!!!!!, next he shows us some of the funniest commericials during class, and then he gives Extra Credit by helping to do Marketing Surveys. I also have the chance to get an A+ in his class by coming up with a marketing plan for a new or existing company. First place in the competition gets an automatic A+ in the class. If the classroom size wasn’t like 300 I would actually have a good chance of winning. The rest of my classes are okay except Financial Accounting is SO BORING to listen to sometimes not because of the teacher, he tries his best to make accounting jokes, but because Accounting is just a boring, number-crunching class. Chinese is going okay, but I am waiting to get my weekly quiz back which I don’t think I did so great in, but hopefully 80 or above. Fingers crossed. Work is good except I had to put together like 500 name tags, but I can’t complain because the Cornell Alumni Student Mentoring Program has given me so many connections that I would put together 1,000 name tags with the opportunities they offer. Even though I am really busy, I am lazy at heart so I take naps whenever or wherever I can. Today’s spot of the day was the Math library since I could take a nap real quick and walk to work. I am thinking about quitting the Cornell Investment Club though, because I am not really into it and the main reason I did it was because it looks good on my resume. I am going to the general body meeting today, but I don’t know how much longer I can care.

Oh yea before I forget, no update on a major, but I have my 3 possible majors of the week: Economics at Arts & Sciences, Applied Economics & Management at Agricultural & Life Sciences, and Policy Analysis & Management at Human Ecology.

I am also excited to hear Kanye West’s New Album while I am doing my economics problem set, but that’s another subject!

Wow, after about 15 minutes of logging in non-sense I am finally able to write and introduce myself to the Cornell community and as a matter of fact because I am so awesome the world!! Struggles that is my theme of the week because getting adjusted to the second year has been interesting and all I can do is laugh at all the craziness that has happened so far.

First, I think I should have changed my blog title to undecided because I am generally just undecided about my life at this point in time. It shows in my major at Arts&Science having an undecided/undeclared major. It definitely shows in the courses I picked out for myself this year. My classes are in 3 different colleges and I am still deciding if I want to pick another class in another school so I can just be a renaissance man and have a little taste of everything. Here is my schedule so far:

AEM 240 Marketing – The class seems real interesting because you get to find out how the market industry choose their versions of advertisements. We get to also talk to a lot of important people like a CEO of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, people who are in charge of Frito Lays, and handfuls of CEOs, presidents, vice-presidents, and stuff.

H ADM 223 Financial Accounting for Non-Hotelies – Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, yawn but still a pretty tough clas

PHYS 201 Why is the Sky Blue- I don’t honestly know the answer but I’m going to sit there until I find out

ECON 101 Microeconomics- figure why Lebron James didn’t go to college but instead took the hundreds of millions

AND FINALLY THE BEAST OF MY SCHEDULE CHIN 201 Intermediate Mandarin Chinese- need I say more. All this for a grand total of 16 great credits. Cornell’s diversity of classes has ruined me because I like alot of classes but can’t choose a single major in a single college but hopefully later on I can figure out something. So today I have limited down my possible majors to: Industrial and Labor Relations, Applied Economics and Management in Agriculture&Life Sciences, Economics at Arts&Science, and maybe a Hotelie if they let me slide with wearing Vans with a suit for the California background.

The first week was great I got to some new things. Like for this year I got to go to a welcome weekend event in Ho Plaza where they were serving funnel cake, music, and games. It’s a chance where all the freshman feel like they are part of the Cornell community and get to basically meet and greet. It was alot of fun.

That was it for my first week of school, but before I forget I did do something anyone who sees the picture of me wearing a mohawk in my blogging pictures I CUT IT off. Not because I didn’t like it just because I was bored and it gave me an activity to do. Here are some pictures of me
