People can’t see my beauty when you are flying around like this.

cloud: what are you talking about? The reason for the beautyful view in the first place is because of me.

Sky: I am beautiful with out you, just move away so people can see me.

Cloud: your pride will make you regret. Without me, people will never look up to see the sky.

Sky: No, you are the one who got it all wrong. Just like you said, they look up to see the sky, not cloud.

Cloud: That’s true but with out shades I provide for them, they will never look up because the Sun will hurt them.

Sky:…

———————-

I wrote about a discussion between sky and cloud and what they could argue about.

Not many people looks up these days when they are so busy and I think we need to look up to enjoy

the view once a while to take a break!

4. Vulnerability of an adult

When I was about 12 years old, i lived in a community where about 200 people lived together. It was Christian community my father had built. There were all kinds of people living together. There were alcoholic, drug addict, people suffering from depression and many more. There was this one man who was a gang member in LA and a drug dealer. He looked very tough and muscular so I always thought of him as very strong person both physically and mentally. But one day I saw him crying very loudly in the mountain on his knees. I think he was praying because he is son of a pastor just like I am. I believe he was repenting at the time for things he did. We got very close after that because it was easier for me to get close to him after what I saw.

I observed a very interesting scene which was a molting of a spider. I have a pet tarantula which is only 2 inches at the time but it can grow up to 5 or 6 inches. Today it was lying on its back so I knew it was molting so I stayed right beside the cage to witness the molting. Very slowly, it started shedding its skin pushing and pulling from its old skin. The process took about 20 minutes and after it finished molting, it stood on its legs for a while. I always wanted to watch it mold and I was glad I could actually watch it mold.

5.

most beautiful words by 10 friends

Wait, Endure, Awesome, Love, Michondria, Twilight, Breeze, Diamond, Photosynthesis, Gold

Giving

The giving tree waited for very long time.

It endured countless storms to become what it is.

It didn’t stop him from giving unsparingly.

If we are to learn love, we should learn from the giving tree.

The tree grew with energy he produced from mitochondria with photosynthesis.

The only prize for him after the hard working day was the

twilight on the sky and breeze over his green leaves.

Maybe it was the force driving him to get closer to the sky.

The giving tree gave up the twilight and breeze

for prize that are much bigger than gold or diamond.

The prize that can be only measured by heart.

——————

It was hard to connect the words that were given by my friends, so the poem

may sound unrelated and unfinished but this is what I came up with at the time.

3. Birth, Love, Joy, Protect, Prayer, Support, Bless

At birth, you held me with love.

I was just brought out to the world, trying to grab the first scent of it

I cannot imagine your thoughts and feelings

Have I brought joy to you? I did not know anything.

Your care turned me into a boy with a bit of sense,

I roamed around the backyard like a king, under your protection.

I was young and fearless.

You watched me through the time of storm and gale with your prayer

you were always there for me like a tree on top of the mountain.

With your support and trust I became a man.

I wouldn’t have found who I am and come to my full senses if it wasn’t for you.

And now

with your blessing, I will be a husband with responsibilities.

I won’t be under your care and protection anymore

but I know that I will always be with

your prayer.

———————-

I could have came up with much more words associated with my mother but it would be too hard

to write a good poem with all those words, so I just used seven words to write this poem.
