Remembering Notebook Exercise-Composite Character

This exercise asked me to take two people  I have known and make a list of characteristics about them. Then, I was to combine characteristics from both people to create one composite character.

Person 1:

  • mousy
  • walks on the toes, like a ballerina
  • leads her hips
  • gets upset easily
  • loyal
  • likes to be involved
  • has small pink lips
  • flips her hair off her face aggressively and with her whole hand, like she’s smacking a bee
  • nods with her whole body when she listens
  • bites her nails when she’s nervous
  • has very poor circulation in her hands, often they are red or white

Person 2:

  • has a low wraspy voice
  • speaks louder than necessary
  • often says inappropriate things to get attention
  • likes to go running
  • obsesses about what she eats
  • wears an extensive amount of makeup
  • gets laughs by doing sketches of familiar situations
  • Straightens her hair twice a day
  • goes to the tanning bed every week
